Java Developer Contract

Java developer required for an excellent contracting role with a leading financial services company in Dublin.

* 12 month contract with a very competitive daily rate

My client are a global financial services giant with a strong presence in Dublin, the organisation have an excellent reputation as a place to work with a very healthy number of contractors who all comment on the positive working environment.
They have a very large scale project to replace an existing legacy application which is a key part of the business. The new application will be completely greenfield built using an API / micro-services with an Angular frontend.
The profile we are looking for is of a Senior Java Developer who has solid skills in modern JavaScript development ideally using Angular. Somebody who can also influence architecture decisions and who can help mentor other developers who would be learning the Angular framework as this project is going on.

Technical Skills / Experience

* 7+ years Java development experience
* Proven experience developing with Angularjs / Angular2 (other frameworks considered)
* Solid expereince building scalable REST APIs
* An understanding of API / microserve architecture
* Expereince building large scale enterprise applications from scratch

Interviews are due to take place w/b 8/5/17, there are potentially 2 roles available .
