We’re looking for an experienced SharePoint consultant to join our growing team, a part of Version 1’s Business Application Solution Practice (BAS). You’ll be responsible for business development, solution design / development and contributing to the continued growth of our Sharepoint capability.
To be a good fit for this role, you’ll have a track record of delivering business solutions on SharePoint for mid to enterprise level organisations, across multiple sectors. You’ll be highly proficient at working with business stakeholders and directing project teams, with detailed knowledge of the range of SharePoint platforms and associated technologies.

Work with our current and future customer base to deliver new solutions and help them support their existing deployments.
Participate in the planning, design & delivery of new solutions and workflows, either as development or natic SharePoint projects e.g. SharePoint Designer, JavaScript injection etc.
Assist customers with administering their SharePoint environments, such as ensuring the reliability & availability of farms, providing 3rd level support, aiding with adoption and training, implementing governance procedures, monitor & provide frequent status health checks of the environment.
Communicate effectively with customer stakeholders, business units, end users, and technology teams to properly support, plan and deploy solutions that meet business needs.
Evaluate and work with new and upcoming technologies, Office 365, Azure, SharePoint framework, Angular, React, and help our customers maximise their benefit from them.
Skills Required
Ideally, you’ll have 5+ years of IT experience developing and designing solutions on SharePoint platform, including Office 365 and SharePoint Online, with a passion for SharePoint and broader Content and Collaboration solutions, best practice design principles and approaches for a range of styles and technologies.
On the technical skill side, we’d of course expect you to have sound understanding of the SharePoint Platform and core feature set, Office 365 and also strong C# development skills, SharePoint feature and App development, working knowledge of SharePoint Services; BCS, Search, Excel, etc.
You’ll need to have intimate knowledge of SharePoint farm components, architecture, configuration, diagnosis and troubleshooting. And working knowledge of SQL programming (e.g. TSQL), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and Source Control methodologies and principles.
Bonus points for:
· HTML5, CSS3
· Angular, React or other JavaScript frameworks
· MVC framework
· Entity Framework or NHibernate
· Working Knowledge Of Common Architectural Patterns
· Experience of creating SSRS reports and SSIS packages
· Agile Development Methodologies
· Continuous Integration Methodologies, Tools & Principles
