Job Description
Due to our on-going expansion, we have an exciting new role for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer / Consultant to work as part of our Dublin Oracle Practice. You will work with our customer to consult on the design and delivery of enterprise solutions and projects.
Version 1 is the first company in Ireland to achieve Oracle Platinum Partner status: the top tier of the partnership programme.
We have the largest locally-based Oracle implementation and managed support services capability in the country and a depth of expertise across the Oracle stack including Database, Middleware, E-Business Suite and Business Intelligence.
We have built a successful Oracle Practice which provides consultancy, development and support services to a range of Irish and International organisations.
Job Objectives
Your key duties will be around identifying and implementing process and technology improvements.
This is a great opportunity to progress existing Oracle skills with a leading Oracle Platinum Partner with excellent career prospects.
It may suit an experienced Oracle Developer moving or recently moved into Consulting as a career, and there will be opportunities for cross-practice work as well as a pipeline of complex and innovative projects to support.
Skills Required
Technical:
- A minimum 2+ years of PL/SQL
- Strong commitment to code quality
- Hands-on development
- Experience delivering a project over a full SDLC
Soft skills:
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Experience in a client-facing environment
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
Bonus points:
- Consultancy experience
- Experience in working on Agile projects
