Data Engineer

New position within a focus data science team based in Dublin, the Data Engineer will contribute to the companies goals in delivering data driven customer experience & providing specialist support to data science team.

Key Responsibility:

• Aid development & delivery of next generation data science platform 

• Develop systems to transfer & store data on SQL based warehouse

• Implement and automate data collection methods

• Implement automation of defined data science outputs across customer products

• Deliver analytics and data science based enablers to team

• Assist and improve data architecture - eg. integration of Azure with SQL Server environment

Experience Required

• 2+ years experience in similar role

• Strong programming/scripting & software development skills - Python, Git preferable 

• Experience with API integration

• Understanding of basic statistical analysis 

• Basic knowledge of data collection methods

• SQL experience essential

• Understanding of integration between SQL & NoSQL 

• Knowledge of key data warehousing principals 

• Experience with data & business analytics projects

• Experience with Cloud Technologies

• Stamp 4 visa or EU passport holder
