Our client, Aviation Solutions company is looking for a PHP Developer to join their team.
It is a permanent position based in Co.Clare
The Candidate
- Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work as part of a small team
- Excellent troubleshooting / problem solving
- Excellent attention to detail
- An ability to co-ordinate inputs/requirements from multiple stakeholders
- Ability to manage your own workload
Skills/Experience:
- Full-stack web developer with 2+ years professional experience building, optimising and debugging complex PHP applications
- Previous working experience of MVC frameworks (preferably Laravel, but prior experience with Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc will also be considered)
- Strong working experience of Unit Testing(PHPUnit), TDD, and Continuous Integration
- Understand API design (JSON)
- Strong knowledge of database design; database administration and query optimisation Experience using Version Control (Git)
- Front-end development experience particularly JavaScript, (jQuery, Angular JS), and Bootstrap (LESS/SASS).
- Experience with modern front end tooling such as Sass, Gulp, Grunt, Webpack etc.
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Responsive design
- Deployment and operations (Heroku)
- Knowledge of the Linux command line, LAMP stack
