Role Purpose:
This role is a technical position within the Professional Services team focused on the design and implementation of customer Skype for Business solutions. This is a key position within Professional Services, the Technology Consultant takes customer “problems” and defines technology solutions that will transform our customers IT operations and enable their business operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the specification, design, test and deployment of ICT solutions for customers;
- Maintain the development of personal technical, analytical, and practical proficiencies needed to ensure optimal application of technologies and industry best practices within the their specialities;
- Working with the PMO and individually where required to lead the implementation of solutions and client delivery engagements;
- Be responsible for the technical ownership and delivery of solutions to industry and PFH best practice;
- Deliver consulting services to clients;
- Support the sales efforts through Presales and Technology Briefing / thought leadership activity;
- Assist the Service Department in defining practices for problem isolation and troubleshooting issues within their competency expertise for technology solutions
- Work with the Team Lead to participate in and provide input into the design, re-design and development of Competency products and Solutions

Education:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification or relevant industry experience.
Technical Skills:
- Proven track record in designing and implementing solutions at the highest level within the relevant technology area.
- Excellent technical ability in a selection of our key technologies such as:
- Microsoft Technology Stack
- Microsoft Windows
- Virtualisation (VMWare / HyperV)
- Office Communication Server (OCS) / Lync 2010/ 2013 and Skype for Business
- MS Exchange 2007 / 2010 / 2013
- System Centre (2007 / 2012)
- Office 365 integration (Identity and platform)
- Azure integration (IaaS and Security)
- Be recognised within the industry as an expert within their technology area.
Accreditations:
- Will have achieved the highest level of accreditation in at least one primary specialization within their technology area.
Experience:
- The successful candidate will have at least 6 - 7 years relevant experience.
