What will the job entail?
• Manage and undertake Technical Lead activities as requested on specific projects
• You will be responsible for managing a team of 6 in-house developers as well as a remote team of 8.
• Develop and maintain application systems changes for new projects
• Provide solution design, interfacing with architecture and infrastructure areas if required
• Managing technical engagement relationship with third party provider of J2EE related technology services
• Provide support in the development life cycle
• Keep up to date on new & changing technologies.
Skills required?
•
Deep knowledge of Java and J2EE related technology including some of the following:
• JAVA / JSP / Web Services / Spring / Oracle Weblogic Server / SOA Suite / JSF / HTML / Eclipse / ANT / JBoss / Tomcat / Apache / JavaScript
• Excellent experience working in an Agile environment
• Past experience as a team lead - Liaising with and mentoring the developers will make up a large portion of the role
