IT Job - Testing and Quality Manager - €300.00 - €400.00 per day. This person can be based in Dublin or Waterford. The contract will be 3 to 6 months.

Our client is a FinTech company with compelling attributes for providing automated KYC services and they are looking for a Testing/Quality Manager.

About you

• You will have a strong technical understanding coupled with proven experience in managing technical and information teams or projects.
• You will approach things with strong project management capabilities, managing and communicating priorities.
• Your hands on experience will be backed up by a relevant tertiary qualification
• You will be comfortable to work collaboratively at all levels and understand complex business issues and suggest practical solutions.

As the Testing and Quality Manager you will critically be experienced in the setup and hands on running of activities. You must:

• Be able to setup the test environment,
• Accompany this with supporting documentation,
• Perform unit, module and UAT testing, coordinating with others where appropriate,
• Communicate well with other team members, and
• Be a team player.

Experience in the following systems/technologies would be advantageous:

• Our main systems reside on SQL Server databases.
• Client Services are provided via XML/JSON API interfaces and Web portals developed in ASP.NET.
• New projects are also introducing AngularJS for client-facing portals.
• We also maintain several connections to data providers via a range of interfaces over HTTP.
• We maintain internal facing administration web portals for support desk and reporting also.
