PHP Developer Galway
My client is looking for a Backend PHP Developer to join their team in Galway - the cultural heartland of Ireland. Below is an outline of the role for you to look over.
The client is a leader in their industry and are well established with clients with significant financial backing. This role will give you the chance to work in a friendly and fast-growing company, and on a wide variety of projects. Each project brings its own challenges and rewards. You'll also get to work with a very talented team, and as your skills develop you'll have every chance to take on increasingly complex projects.
You will be joining a development team working on Business to Business web applications with a chance to make suggestions and improvements to the existing software as well as new project work.

Key responsibilities
• Be responsible for the ongoing development of core and customer specific elements of the product suite
• Contribute to the technical relationship with the client, agreeing technical specifications & design, functionality and overall deliverables – working with senior management
• Contribute to the design and development of new modules within the system
• Be responsible for systems analysis, issue investigation, software maintenance
Skills:
• Attention to detail
• Ability to understand and work with existing source code
• Good problem-solving skills with a "can-do" attitude
• Experience with SVN / GIT
Additional requirements:
• knowledge of MVC frameworks (CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel, Zend, ...)
• Documenting your work
• EU working permit
