IT Systems Administrator

My Client is currently looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join their team here in Cork. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role will include day-to-day and strategic IT Systems maintenance and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain servers and applications, documenting and testing DR procedures
* Knowledge of Information Security ISO 27001 necessary
* Managing Windows 7 workstations, MacOS devices, mobile devices (phones and tablets), IP Telephony Phone System and other server/client side services
* Knowledge of design, administration, operation and maintenance of Microsoft Servers (2003, 2008, 2012), VMware infrastructure, Active Directory, SharePoint, Office 365
* Maintaining and monitoring core support systems to ensure business continuity
* Managing and administering Security and monitoring systems (Access Controls, Firewalls, Sophos Anti-Virus)
* Managing and maintaining data backups
* Develop and implement IT standards and procedures in line with industry trends
* BS degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred)
* Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VOIP, VPN, FTP, V-LANs, (Networking)
