Senior .Net Developer – Dublin City Centre

Looking for a Senior .Net Developer to carry out front end web based development for a number of different systems. You will work closely with the businesses operational users who are located in Dublin to define requirements and manage the book of work. You will work with vendors and offshore development teams in Poland and India to ensure successful delivery of each project

Key responsibilities:
• Development of new requirements for .Net and SQL Server based Amortisation calculation application.
• Working with business users to define requirements and develop functional specifications.
• Analyzing and resolving Level 3 Production Incidents.
• Developing solutions for updating or improving existing applications, to meet IT commitments to the business.
• Co-ordinating and supporting deployments to UAT and Production environments.

Key skills:
• 5+ years of application development using C#.Net, ASP.Net, Windows Services, Web Services (including WCF) and XML.
• Strong SQL Server experience, including complex queries, performance tuning and schema design.
• Proficient in Object Oriented design and development, including Design Patterns.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Silverlight 3,4,5 a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services a plus.
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services Technologies (SOAP, WSDL, IIS).
• Knowledge of source code version control tools – TFS (Team Foundation Server) a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology a plus.
