Seeking experienced IT Project Managers with expertise in delivering enterprise software development projects, Datawarehouse / BI Analytics, software &/or data migration projects.
Working with a team of Senior Project Managers, you will be given responsibility for managing all phases of a project or projects involving, enterprise software development projects, data solutions or data migration projects within a global programme for this multinational organisation. These projects are high value, enterprise projects working with project resources in US & Ireland, focusing on enterprise software systems development, Data migration and BI / Analytics solutions development projects.
The Programme comprises a series of software projects to be delivered arising from the acquisition of new subsidiaries into the Group and migrating the systems & data into the Group software systems, coupled with on-going planned software development projects.
Senior Project Manager required to deliver large-scale, enterprise Software systems development projects to completion, through the full project lifecycle.
A background in managing software development projects is absolutely essential. (Infrastructure Project Managers or general IT Systems Managers / IT Managers will not suit this vacancy.)
Role responsibilities:
Working with resource teams of Technical Business Analysts, Software Architects, Software Developers & Testers and other key Business / Technical resources, you will be responsible for:
* Managing all phases of a software project (or projects) through to successful completion
* Managing key stakeholder & internal client relationships
* Creating & managing project plans that meet project sponsors expectations
* Create & deliver on key project deliverables
* Develop project plans & manage project scope, deadlines, budget, risk and resources
* Work with multi-site project teams, focussed on developing software systems for internal use, supporting the global business of this worldwide organisation
Experience Required:
* Proven expertise as an IT Project Manager or Senior Project Manager who has delivered enterprise software development projects successfully
* Must have managed large-scale software development projects or Data solutions / Analytics projects
* Ideally financial services industry knowledge
* Experience applying project management methodologies / tools (Prince, PMP, Visio, MS Project or related)
* Excellent presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
* Excellent communications & leadership skills
* Able to interface with C level executives, business & technical stakeholders
* International enterprise project management background experience is advantageous
Salary = €60-65K + benefits + bonus
Please note that it is essential that your Project Management expertise has focussed on managing Enterprise Software development, Applications Development or Software Solutions Development projects.
