Senior Security IT Expert - Dublin/Limerick

My client, a growing pharmaceutical company based in Ireland, is currently looking to hire a senior IT security expert to join their expanding team. The senior IT security expert would be based in Dublin or Limerick and would be primarily responsible in managing the companies cyber security needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a pharmaceutical company that makes a difference. You will be instrumental in defining the cyber security needs and shaping the future direction of the company.
You will be working alongside both infrastructure and development teams using some of the most advanced technologies to date.
Salary Expectations - €65 - 90,000 with company benefits
Key responsibilities of the senior IT security expert:
* Lead and/or support projects and initiatives related to cyber security
* Implement and design the cyber security documentation
* Assist in all security projects
* IPS/IDS
* Vulnerability Scanning
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT controls and risk management practices
* Evaluate technical and procedural controls for potential security and compliance gaps
* Bringing the company in line with CSA and up to date on their cloud security needs
As the cyber security expert you will have:
* 4-6 years working in a cyber security space
* Linux experience is a must
* Proven ability to develop cyber security needs from the ground up
* Hands on approach to security needs
* Knowledge of opensource technologies
* Coding experience (python, bash etc)
* Understanding of ISO, CAIQ, Penetration Testing, OWASP Top 10, Intrusion Detection, Risk Analysis, Cloud Solutions
* Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Docker, Rocket seen as an advantage
* A keen interest in the latest and emerging technologies with cyber security
