Due to continued expansion within Evros Professional Services we have a position in our Technical Consulting Division. The Senior Network Architect will work within a team of consultants, the role is challenging and combines customer facing pre-sales discussions with ongoing technical deployments of high end enterprise network solutions.
The successful candidate will work on leading-edge network technology projects for our clients in Ireland. The role requires 6-8 years' experience working in a design/architecture level across networking technologies centred on Cisco, Juniper and Palo Alto Technologies (Routers, Switches, and Security Appliances) and LAN/WAN design.
Technical Requirements:
* Minimum 6-8 years' experience in a hands-on networking role, including firewalls, routers & switches as well as datacentre network design.
* A logical approach (backed by strong experience) to troubleshooting complex network & firewall issues
* In-depth knowledge of and experience with dynamic routing protocols including BGP & OSPF
* Experience of Cisco Nexus (L2/L3) switches, ASR routers & ASA firewalls
Ability to design resilient, scalable & secure network solutions to meet specific requirements
* Cisco, Juniper and Palo Alto Technologies (Routers, Switches, and Security Appliances) and LAN/WAN design.
* Any of the following certifications are desirable: CCIE, CCNP (Routing / Switching), CCSP, CISSP.
* Some experience with virtualisation technologies & SDN would be an advantage

* Proven ability to work well under pressure
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to confidently present solutions you have designed
* Ability to act as a mentor to more junior team members
Evros has a dedicated Networking division and Tier 1 partners with Cisco and HP. We also work and are accredited with a number of specialised providers such as F5 and Palo Alto. We have extensive experience cross a range of networking projects, from full blown network implementations, Lan/Wan, Wireless, Switching and Routing.
