I'm looking to speak to experienced Big Data Developers in Dublin for a massive project in Dublin City Centre. My client, a start up, that is thriving is looking for an experienced Big Data Engineer to come on board to take ownership of a massive data pipeline that handles terabytes of data every day.
Having been on-site, this is a very relaxed casual office and operates a no drama environment. The team is at 30 and will be expanding over the coming months. You will be surrounded by an ALL Senior team, that are very accomplished within the Irish Java market.
You won't be expected to work crazy hours and the team regularly socialise with a number of paid team nights out. Tech stack wise, you will have autonomy to work with the technologies that you want to work with. This is a no red tape culture!
You:
* +5 years commercial Java experience
* Experience with Scala/Python/R
* +2 years commercial Hadoop
* Experience with AWS (S3, EC2, EMR)
* Strong SQL/NoSQL
* Experience with handling large data sets
