Business Analyst (Contract)

My client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their team in an exciting daily rate contract role. It is a financially well backed company which is growing rapidly, headquartered in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

* Work with peers across multiple regions to ensure successful project implementation
* Develop, mentor and coach team members and team leads thereby building a strong team at Hub Level
* Periodically assist with service level reviews for Vendor relationships
* Deliver communications across the department for upcoming system changes
* Assist the business in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how they are then integrated with other business and technical processes
* Facilitate review meetings and ensure best practice is applied always

Skills

* Strong stakeholder management
* Expert verbal and written communication skills
* Strong ability in use of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio)
* Self-motivated with strong planning and execution skills
* Good problem solving/troubleshooting skills

What you need for this position

* 5+ Years experience desirable in a Business Analyst/Senior Business Analyst role
* Knowledge of insurance business processes and models
* Oracle SQL / Database query and reporting tools
* Broad understanding of business, business technology and applications
* 3RD Level Qualification in relevant discipline and awareness of Project Management methodologies
* Previous experience with facilitation and leading cross functional and regional review meetings
