Our client are seeking to hire an Agile Product Owner for our market-leading business.
We are seeking a leader who knows that building a great product is a team sport and who can successfully influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
We are looking for someone who can support between business requirements and technical implementation details, while communicating plans and purpose to our technical team.
We are looking for someone who will guide, influence and collaborate across our business to bring new products to life for our customers. This is a newly-created role with wide scope and a unique opportunity to make a real impact on an Irish success story with a truly global reach.
What you will do
•
Build and groom product backlog. Create and prioritise stories that align with our product roadmap and release goals. Secure internal agreement from key stakeholders and the product delivery team to ensure accuracy, completeness and feasibility

Translate business requirements into functional requirements / supporting documentation / user stories and acceptance criteria
•
Work in sync with our Product Manager, contributing to product vision, roadmap and release planning
•
Work closely with software development teams, participate in iteration planning, support UAT, etc.
What you will bring to the role
•
A Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related field
•
5+ years of experience in Product Management, Systems/Business Analysis, Software Engineering or related field
•
A proven track record of shipping products in an Agile based environment.
•
Demonstrated experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria and Agile software development
•
Exceptional visual, verbal and written communication skills
•
Excellent organisational skills, analytic capabilities and attention to detail
•
Business savvy and demonstrated success in transforming customer needs into working software
