Our client has developed one of the most successful E-commerce platforms in their space and are currently partnering with major clients across the world, on a wide range of projects.
As Lead Product Designer, you'll be involved in every aspect of the product creation process, from brainstorming the next great innovation to tweaking pixels before launch (and beyond). You'll utilise your full unicorn range of ux design, interaction design, and visual design skills, and you'll own the user experience for products across platforms.

Creating beautiful, functional designs that contribute seamlessly to user experience is critical to this client. You will help shape the future of their products by contributing to strategy and making sure that design is central to major product decisions.
This role will suit someone who would like to sink their teeth into a product, make major product decisions, as well as being the sole designer. Startup experience would be hugely beneficial in this role.
What you'll do:
* Be the visual voice - visual design comps for prototypes and occasional collateral material.
* Strategy & Discovery
* Own the full user experience from inception to launch
* Contribute to strategic decisions
* Come up with bold and smart product ideas
* Turn ideas into experiences that are feasible, useful and delightful
* Actively participate in discovery activities to help define products and feature
* Develop and present proof of concepts to stakeholders
* Design from start to finish on various projects, with a variety of new and exciting clients.
* Work closely with the development team to create user centred designs in an agile environment.
* Create and implement a UX strategy to create an exceptional user experience.
* Create interactive wireframes and functional prototype.
* Design with an understanding of the latest Front End technologies - Ideally know some coding for prototyping
Education and Experience
* 5+ years' experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI designer, information architect, interaction designer, visual designer, product designer or a similar role.
* Experience in an enterprise IT function, preferably with small teams/start-up environment.
* Demonstrable understanding of end-to-end user experience design, information hierarchy and user flow
* Solid understanding of user research and user testing.
* Strong knowledge of interaction design and methodology.
* Hands-on design skills in visual design.
* The ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team.
* Solid foundation in typography, layout, and general design.
* Lightweight wireframing tools like Balsamiq or something similar. Sharpies and Paper work well too.
* Sketch, InVision, Photoshop and Illustrator (or similar).
The following is desirable:
* Experience with Design Thinking a huge plus.
* Lean UX or Lean Start-up methods experience the hugest plus.
* Experience working in Agile (SCRUM/Kanban) a plus.
