Financial software systems development environment. Our client, a major multinational business, is currently seeking a 2 experienced Contract Business Analysts / Systems Analyst for their operations in the South East. The need has arisen due to major company acquisitions and new product development within the financial services industry worldwide.
We are seeking Technical Business Analysts with strong SQL coding skills who have worked on Database / software development, Data solutions, Datawarehousing, Business Intelligence or Data Analytics type projects.
Business Analysts & Data Systems Analysts with experience of enterprise business applications migration projects and large-scale software systems integration projects are of particular interest.
You will be working on major enterprise software systems migration projects, with a specific focus on Data Solutions (SQL, data warehousing and data analytics / business intelligence solutions).
Role:
* Liaising between the business, project and SQL development teams focussing on Data & Reporting solutions
* Facilitating workshops & business requirements gathering
* Analysing business requirements and translating into detailed system requirements for the technical teams
* Involved in creation of functional and technical documentation
* Data Modelling & data profiling with an eye on data quality
* Writing complex SQL queries
* Collaborate with the project teams to understand business needs, processes and work with project managers, technical architects, data architects and developers to implement business requirements
Experience Required:
* Degree or above in Business Systems, Business Studies, IT, Computer Science, Technology or similar
* 5+ years experience in a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Technical Data Analyst capacity
* Data focussed development projects experience
* Advanced SQL scripting skills - Microsoft SQL (t-SQL)
* Excellent requirements gathering and business systems analysis experience
* Prior experience of Enterprise Software Applications, Data migration projects or Database solution / Data analytics projects
* Excellent communication skills
* Project delivery experience
Contract rate: Daily rates dependent on expertise
