I am currently recruiting for a Category Sourcing Expert to work for a global organisation in Dublin.
Job Title
As a Category Sourcing Expert (CSE) you will be responsible for handling the company's end to end sourcing operations. The successful candidate will be able to support CSM (Category Sourcing Managers) in building supplier relationships, direct supplier negotiation, navigating spend and ERP systems.
Responsibilities
* Manage the company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending
* Assist CSM's in generating and implementing efficient sourcing and category management strategies to secure profitable deals
* Analyze and calculate spending and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
* Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
* Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
* Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
* Ability to develop strong partnership relationships with business peers and clients
* Adverse supply chain and sourcing knowledge
Skills & Competencies
* Telecoms Sourcing experience preferable with knowledge of engineering & technology industry would be favourable
* Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment
* Operate with internal & external stakeholders in a Matrix environment
* Strong project management and leadership skills
* Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analysing and interpreting data
* Strong data management skills on Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Education
* MSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration and/or
* CIPS or IIPMM Qualified
