Data Engineer (SQL BI/AWS)

realTime Recruitment is currently on the lookout for a Data Engineer for a 6-month contract position in Dublin City.

You will be required to:
* Define and deliver a comprehensive advanced data pipeline strategy and transformation roadmap
* Design, develop, test, tune, deploy and support data pipeline solutions
* Interface with key business stakeholders to gather data integration requirements and develop solutions accordingly
* Contribute to the logical/physical design and development of new/existing data marts

Experience Required:
* 6+ years ETL/DWH development experience with strong knowledge in designing, developing and delivering end-to-end data integration processes for large scale data warehouses
* Strong SQL Server and SSIS skills are essential
* Firm understanding of BI principles, architectures and cloud based BI solutions
* Experience developing data solutions on AWS (Amazon Web Services)
* Experience working with enterprise scale ETL/ELT solutions

Knowledge/Experience in any of the following areas is a distinct advantage:
* WhereScape RED
* AWS Redshift
* Agile/SCRUM
