Drupal Developer Dublin contract 3-6 months. My client a global leader in their industry is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Drupal Developer to join them on a contract basis for 3-6 months.
My client is looking for a Drupal Developer for a short term contract in their Dublin operation, for the right candidate and depending on how experienced you are my client maybe open to some remote work possibility, after an initial period of embedding in the Dublin office. The successful candidate will join the Software Engineering team of the centre to work on the development of a Front End Drupal based portal that will expose and interface with an Apigee platform. As a member of the team, you will apply your expertise in developing modern Drupal-based portals, creating new themes with a bespoke look and feel, including the creation and modification of custom components/modules. You will demonstrate quick understanding of existing wireframe designs, understand the constraints and capabilities of the Drupal platform to deliver those designs, along with your ability to identify and translate business needs and map them to solid Drupal portal designs. You will work alongside existing software engineers and design teams to help the team fulfil the portal requirements.
My client is looking for someone with 5 years of commercial experience with development new Drupal implementation, as well as Development experience with Drupal API. Candidates will also have around 5 years of commercial experience in development against the Drupal content management platform, including experience of PHP-based customisation. You will have 3 years working on custom theming and Front End development experience within Drupal (Skills of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery), this will also include 1 year with Drupal Components/API as a platform for integration with third parties. You will have 3 years of experience creating custom pages and workflows for behavioural changes with the CMS and 3 years of experience custom Drupal Module/Plugin development
It would be seen as nice to have if you have experience with the following
* Understanding of core capabilities of Apigee such as login authentication, integration with Microservices (developed in NodeJS platform), any custom service layer integration etc.
* Experience with Server Side JavaScript development (NodeJS)
* Deep understanding and experience of API design
* Experience with agile development (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.) and within an agile project team
* Development experience on APIgee Edge platform creating and managing API proxies.
* Experience with Developer oriented CMS portals
