We have an exciting opening for a "Project Manager". It's an immediate hire and planning to close it ASAP.
Role: Project Manager
Location: Cork, Ireland
Experience required for the role of Manufacturing Project Manager:
At least 10+ years' experience in the Operations Quality and/or Manufacturing and/or R&D with preferably in Medical Devices/Pharma industries
Must possess a graduate engineering degree in either Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering from a reputed institute
This is a Project Manager position at the said location, but candidate may need to go on periodic business travels to other geographies as/when required to Europe and United States. The candidate will need to have effective team management skills. S/He will need to be aware of and appreciative of the Indian cultural & corporate ethos and working styles.
The candidate will be responsible for the following -
Manage customer expectations in Operations Quality and/or manufacturing on both technical & relationship perspectives
Work with cross-functional teams across R&D, Quality, Operations & Regulatory to deliver projects
Be responsible for adherence to timelines and business commitment and ensure milestones are achieved
Capture project specific metrics and present progress reports to Senior Management
Make appropriate use of the our client offshore delivery team
Follow up with Customer engineers to ensure queries from our offshore are answered on time
Report issues to the Customer and our client management to ensure appropriate closure
Key Skills/Knowledge for the role of Manufacturing Project Manager
At least 10+ years' experience in the Operations Quality and/or Manufacturing and/or R&D with preferably in Medical Devices/Pharma industries
At least 4 years of project management experience
Candidate should possess strong communication and inter-personal skills.
Project Management certification (like PMP) preferable.
Ability to translate complex customer requirements into discrete, clear & concise inputs for execution by an engineer based remotely is essential
Must possess sound engineering knowledge and understanding of key concepts
Must have a basic understanding of technologies used in a regulated manufacturing operations industry
Proficient with MS Office applications such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project
A good understanding of the key functions in a manufacturing plant will be an added bonus
Requirements for Project Manager:
Should have educational qualification in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering
