Title: Junior Android Developer
Location: Dublin
Salary: Negotiable

The role is with a somewhat eCommerce company in Dublin City. They are looking for a proficient Android Developer. I recently placed their lead developer so this position will sit under them. One of the big swaying points for them to move to this company was the technologies - they tend to use more modern frameworks versus Legacy.

Responsibilities:

*Maintain and develop new and existing components for their Android App
*Assist with planning and design of new generation mobile Apps.

Skills & Experience required:

*2-3 years' commercial experience developing Android applications
*Ensure that all code developed is adequately unit tested
*Optimise code and UIs for performance
*Agile
*Develop native UI's

Experience with the following technologies will be a distinct advantage:

*Ability to lead mobile development through to completion
*Experience developing enterprise applications (100k+ users)
*SOAP, REST and JSON
*Unit Testing
*Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Education & Qualification:

*Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar
