Senior UI Technical Lead

My client is currently seeking a Senior UI Developer to join their team in Dublin. Opportunity to be part of a large scale project focused on developing an innovative digital and mobile presence. 

Key Responsibility:

• Develop structured production level JavaScript /HTML/CSS, across various frameworks for front-end web development projects
• Coach team members on good coding practices & using frameworks to widen team's understanding of JavaScript development
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver solutions
• Expert for testing & optimisation process
• Technical advisor to business owners, project management & back end development teams
• Lead & assist in developing junior team members
• Define & develop strategy for Angular, JS & other front end technologies
• Work with solution architects to optimise product to meet technology standards
• Lead technical direction of on & off shore teams
• Manage team capacity & workflows
• Work with product and project managers to secure budget approval
• Streamline processes and change ways of working to ensure team efficiency
• Deliver attractive user interface to drive increased engagement and repeat custom

Requirements

• Professional experience in JavaScript; experience with AngularJS and other JavaScript libraries
• Experience with JavaScript testing tools.
• RESTful Web Services
• Relevant Degree/qualification or work experience
• Ability to work closely with designers, product owners and developers
• Demonstrable portfolio of work
• Experience in on boarding new frameworks and technologies in a controlled manner
• Track record of introducing and maintaining technical strategy for a similar sized team
• Strong understanding of user research, wire framing, personas and other HCI methods
• Experience using version control systems; experience with Git preferred
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
