You will be involved with a team that are developing software for a satellite that will launch into space this year. It will provide connectivity for in-flight entertainment systems on aircrafts. The software allows passengers to stream videos and use their own devices on the plane via wifi or installation ports. This software will revolutionise our flight experiences.

Software Engineer Requirements:

* Bsc in Computer Science or equivalent.
* 4-10 years Software Engineering experience
* JVM and exposes rich RESTful APIs that are consumed by our native mobile clients, our single page web apps and airlines. The stack includes: Vert.x, Spring, Guice, MySQL, MongoDB. We build, automate and deploy with Gradle, Gulp, Ansible, Docker. We have supporting tools written C, Python, Bash.
* Full stack web development with a modern web framework
* Experience with a scripting language
* Expert knowledge of Java, OO, unit testing, enterprise design patterns
* Java application server experience e.g. Jetty, Tomcat, Undertow
