SAP HR Payroll Consultant
The main responsibilities include:
Provide end user support for the SAP R/3 application with an emphasis on Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Compensation Management modules.
Investigate and resolve support calls raised by the business.
Work on internal SAP projects and Change Requests as required.
Identify potential process improvements opportunities across the landscape.
Liaise with a variety of stakeholders in the specification, development and testing of enhancements/
modifications to the SAP solution.
Complete knowledge transfer for respective application area to other members of support team.
Provide business analyst services to support new application products within SAP and external to SAP.
Work alongside Team Leads, Delivery Leads, Functional SME's and Solution Architects to Identify and manage risks.
Provide support and assistance for the ongoing roll out of SAP.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in SAP Payroll and HR functional areas, with an emphasis on Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Compensation modules. (Must have experience of UK & Irish Payroll).
You should have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills combined with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong documentation/writing skills, with experience of developing process maps, flow charts, user requirements documentation, etc, would be desirable.
Knowledge of information systems and technology and the application of these to process improvement projects is desirable.
Knowledge of structured project management techniques for IT related projects including design, development, test and release management is desirable.
Experience of working as a user on a SAP implementation project would also be beneficial.
