My client is an established company in the automotive industry, seeking to add a junior software engineer to their expanding team. The company is specialised in a niche sector providing a range of systems used by domestic and large international clients alike.
Junior Automotive Software Engineer - Dublin - EUR 35,000-40,000
Your role will involve the development, integration and delivery of automotive software on various platforms. You will be supported by an experienced team of senior people, allowing you the chance to take responsibility but also have time to fully grow into the role. Promotion through the company is the natural progression envisaged.
Junior Software Engineer :: Key Skills
* 1-2 years' experience in C programming in Real Time Embedded software
* BSc in a relevant degree discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar)
* Exposure to using 16-bit microcontrollers
* Strong RTOS background with knowledge of event driven architecture
* Good communication skills and desire to learn
* Ability to take responsibility alone and within a team setting
* Any experience in CAN and LIN based tools is beneficial but not necessary
