The contractor will be joining a team responsible for:

- Ensuring SQL Server DB systems are running optimally

- Designing, planning and implementation of new SQL Server estates as well as expanding existing infrastructure
- Designing and implementing monitoring solutions and developing/ maintaining automation scripts

Requirements

* 4 + years' experience in SQL Server DB Administration
* Extensive experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
* Knowledge of SQL Server tools
* Exposure to Oracle DB's and some administration experience up to Oracle 12c

Bonus

* Any skills in open source and/or No SQL databases - AWS, Azure
* ITIL Certified, SQL Server certified
