Java Developer Contract

Java Developer / Senior Java developer required for a great contracting role using new technologies with a leading financial services organisation.

Location: Central Dublin
Contract Length: 6 months
Daily Rate: Very Competitive. Rate dependant on experience

Java Developer / Senior Java Developer required for a large greenfield project making use of some of the newest Java related technologies and modern development methodologies.

The company are re-writing their middle tier and front end of a core business application which ties in with a large IT overhaul programme which is currently ongoing. This development project is in the early stages and will offer the chance to make a large contribution to a sizable project.

Joining a team of 5 developers in a relatively flat structured manner the Java Developer / Senior Java Developer will have the chance to make contributions to system design and architecture along with the development work of the project.

We are seeking a Java Developer / Senior Java Developer ideally with the following skills / experience:

* 4+ years experience working as a Java Developer / Senior Java Developer
* Strong exposure across the Spring framework. Experience with newer modules such as Spring Boot, Spring REST etc. would help
* Experience working complex REST services / APIS
* An understanding of Micro-services architecture is desired
* Experience working on in a TDD / DDD / BDD style desired
* You will gain exposure to Angular2
* They work in an Agile / Scrum environment
