They currently are seeking an Information Systems Manager with expertise in HR & Payroll Systems to join the team.

The incumbent will represent the IT Department will lead the engagement with the People and Culture (HR) and Payroll teams. Your mission is understand the business strategy, develop the roadmap and oversee the successful delivery of IT projects and services to support the business goals of the HR And Payroll teams.


1. Work closely with decision makers in the key teams, IT and other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for the organization.
2. Manage the key relationships with business and customer stakeholders.
3. Manage the integration team supporting integration of all systems supporting people processes and provide systems and technology leadership to the people systems team.

Key Tasks
  
• Partner with People and Culture, Communications and Payroll (and other functional business leaders as required) to develop and manage the strategic long-term technology plans and roadmap aligned to business goals within these functional areas.
• Ensure that any Systems solutions are set against the context of the end to end business requirements.
• Lead the formulation and deployment of long-term strategic plans for enabling efficient and cost-effective use of information technologies.
• Represent the business in the development of a Technology strategy ensuring alignment to the associated business and Functional strategies.
• Provide technology and systems advice and leadership to the business units.
• Manage the people systems integration team managing integration of the end to end people solutions.
• Engage with 3rd party vendors providing services and solutions in the payroll and Time and attendance space. Work with relationship owners to manage the relationships.
• Own the systems and programme change roadmaps for the Business units. Identifying and driving major programmes of change to deliver the requirements of the company for customer service, value and growth.
• Manage the development and delivery of the annual plan for people and payroll systems and associated goals
• Ensure effective communication on projects; such that there is the ability to facilitate timely and accurate decision making across the business.
• Direct research on potential technology solutions and implementations in support of new initiatives, opportunities, and procurement efforts.
• Ensure the implementation of all IT policies and procedures in the area.
• Engage with IT Service Delivery in defining the Service Introduction to Production and the specification of cost effective on-going delivery of support services.
• Engage in appropriate people leadership activities including employee performance reviews, development plans, coaching, talent management and succession planning.
• Develop and review ICT budgets for the area, ensuring they comply with stated goals, guidelines and objectives, including the identification of opportunities to reduce costs

• To ensure that ICT design and operate scalable solutions such that we stay ahead of business requirements and volumes
• Ensures that solutions specified and delivered address the functional and non-functional requirements of the wider business and the ICT department


Requirements


• Educated to degree standard in Information Technology or related business discipline is required, MBA preferred
• Extensive and proven IT Management experience within a Corporate & International fast-paced environment, of which 5 years should be operating at a senior level
• A proven track record of defining, driving and delivering complex, People and Culture (HR) and payroll solutions in a fast paced international organisation.
• Functional and technical understanding of Central Systems, and how they interface from a process perspective to upstream and downstream business areas
• Experience of managing multiple IT disciplines i.e. planning, requirements definition, software development, technical support, systems architecture, project delivery etc.
• Experience in managing the development, evolution and support of Integrations.
• Experience in delivery utilising cloud based solutions
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical colleagues
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, and experience applying these skills to resolve business, solution design, technical and operational issues
• Outstanding collaboration and partnership capabilities – internal within the organisation and externally with key third parties
• The ability to build trust and relationships up-and-down the organisation
• Exceptionally strong attention to detail
• Experience of Planning, estimating, budgeting and managing cost centres
• A broad understanding of ICT systems, applications and operating systems.
• In depth experience of negotiating with and managing contracts with required third parties to deliver value
