The Job:
* As a "full-feature" JavaScript engineer, you'll be working on the full-stack of the platform focusing on the mobile application side
* Developing high quality applications using MongoDB, Android, IOS and JavaScript frameworks like Node, Angular 1.x, App React, React Native, Cordova, Ionic
* Allowed autonomy in how you approach & solve problems for the feature roadmap
* Collaborate in a team of 5 engineers on using git
* Developing software to best-in-breed agile practices, collaborate closely with our Technical Programme Manager and design team to build & deliver our product goals
* Working closely with the internal UI / UX Designers and Front-end engineer to ensure the highest standard UX
* Product Opinion: Provide your feedback and input on features, helping to improve the overall product
* Interest in the sports industry!
Candidates require some of the following for this job:
* 4+ years' experience in software development with JavaScript
* A qualification: B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent lifetime experience;
* Good habits for software team workflows in Git (i.e. git flow); & agile development processes;
* Previously worked on public facing apps with a large number of users
* UX centric viewpoint and keen eye for detail
* Strong communication skills and interest in with a highly collaborative team in an open plan office
* Be positive about problems: always accompany criticisms you make with solutions and workarounds;
* Flexibility: Change is iterative & happens often;
* This job requires a high level of collaboration in a team environment working effectively with Design, Business, Product and Finance;
* Developed using React, React Native, MongoDB, Node, Angular 1.x, Hybrid apps with Cordova & Ionic 1.x, Native apps for iOS and/or Android
