Our client are a leading insurance company based in Dublin 2. They have an immediate vacancy for a front end developer to join their team. Responsibilities
• Design & develop Web Applications, using C# / .NET, and JS frameworks such as AngularJS, React and other JavaScript frameworks.
• Support existing applications & tools through their lifecycle of testing, deployment, operation, user training, maintenance, and enhancement.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders in establishing, refining, and documenting application functional and non-functional requirements.
• Maintain awareness of state-of-the-art development tools, patterns, and problem solving techniques to continually improve development processes and application quality.
Knowledge and Skills
• Good analytic, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be passionate about UI and UX.
• Have strong front end development skills e.g. HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with C#/.NET Development, including ASP.NET & WinForms.
• An appreciation for TDD / BDD / Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Typescript / Webpack / AngularJS / React would be advantageous.
• A willingness & ability to pick up new technologies.
