Our client is seeking to hire a Systems Administrator to support their technology, people and infrastructure We are looking for a technically strong self-starter with initiative and good people skills who is keen to build on their experience; as we grow, this individual contributor role has the potential to evolve beyond traditional systems admin responsibilities – potential development areas are hardware installation support, customer site hosting troubleshooting, product deployment and network design, cloud deployments, depending on your interests and aptitude.
What you will do
•
Desktop/laptop procurement, set-up and maintenance of stock
•
User account management across all systems
•
Define and implement company-wide IT policies
•
Monitor existing back-up and anti-virus systems
•
Review, advise on and manage licensing and storage
•
End user training on IT resources and day-to-day support
•
Administer developer tools
•
Liaise with vendors
•
Manage disaster recovery plan
•
Manage phone system
What you will bring to the role
•
A Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related field
•
5+ years’ experience in Windows system administration
•
Excellent communication skills
•
Superior organisational skills, analytic capabilities, and attention to detail
•
Knowledge of desktop/laptop provisioning tools
•
Experience with remote branch offices
•
TCP/IP networking - DNS, DHCP, routing
Knowledge of the following would be an advantage

•
Microsoft Volume Licensing
•
Sonicwall
•
Linux
•
SQL Server
•
Amazon Web Services
•
Jira, Confluence, TestRails
