Java Developer

My Dublin based client are a globally recognised insurance organisation who have a requirement for a Senior Java Developer as part of a digital team in their city centre offices. This is not your typical insurance role! The technologies being used are bang up to date and there is plenty of development work that needs to be done in quite a fast-paced environment.
This is a great role for developers who are seeking to break into a new industry or who are seeking to work with a great team using some fresh technologies. You will be developing customer facing applications that play a crucial part of their online solutions.

Desired Skills / Experience

* 4+ years Java development experience
* Strong exposure across the Spring framework
* Proven experience developing across the full stack
* Consuming, developing, integrating web services REST & SOAP
* JavaScript - experience with Angular / React / backbone or similar preferred
* Solid appreciation for OO concepts, design, architecture, best practices etc.
* Experience in TDD would help
* Agile / Scrum environment
