Senior IT Engineer - Waterford
Job Role
My client is looking to appoint a Senior IT Engineer. You will be joining one of Ireland's leading providers of network and IT solutions that pride themselves on the level of technical expertise that they offer there customers.
This opportunity will give you the chance to work in a fast paced environment and whilst given that it is a senior position you will have the chance for continuous upskilling due to the ever changing IT industry!
Requires Full Clean Driving Licence.
What you will do:
* Both technical onsite and remote support to all customers.
* Monitoring and support the cloud infrastructure internally & externally.
* Act a senior escalation point for 3rd level support issues.
* Mentor and develop junior engineers with your experience.
What you will have:
* 5+ years' experience working as a field engineer.
* Experience working with Windows server (2008 & above) along with virtualisation in VMware, Hyper V or similar.
* Technical knowledge & experience in network server diagnostics & resolutions.
* MS Exchange and cloud services.
* LAN/WAN design, implementation & configuration experience.
* Professional certification's MCSE, MCSA, MCITP (2008 & above)
* Cisco certifications are desirable.
