Evros Technology Group are seeking applications for an experienced Transition Manager this is a Permanent position based in Dublin South.

The transition manager role is responsible for the on-boarding of new customers, services and projects into our Managed Services team. The role would ideally suit someone with a strong technical background who has great customer management skills and enjoys interfacing with customers and other internal teams. There is also an important process and quality control theme to the role as this role acts as a Gatekeeper to ensure all transitions are of an acceptable standard, comprehensively documented and fully supportable once transitioned. This role applies across all of our Managed Services customers.

* Work with technical experts and business teams to transition new services and solutions and create and support optimal client solutions, acting as liaison between technical and non-technical counterparts
* Lead the Managed Services element of on-boarding of new customers
* Liaise with our Professional Services and Digital Planet teams for on-boarding of new projects
* Transition any new services we may launch into production
* Satisfy our ISO 20000 obligations in relation to transitions and release management
* Act as a Gatekeeper to ensure the quality, documentation and training (where necessary) of all transitions meets requirements
* Identify improvement opportunities in internal processes
* Monitor technical documentation and maintain a clear focus on enhancing knowledge management
* Meet customers at regular intervals and build strong and positive relationship with them, becoming a trusted advisor for their technical queries
* Analyse customers' support requirements and identify areas where the company can offer enhanced service or introduce support cost efficiencies
* Manage ongoing technical reports to customers

Qualifications

* Computer Science degree or diploma, equivalent technical qualification, or equivalent experience

Experience

* 8 years' experience in a technical ICT environment
* 5-8 years' experience supporting most of the following technologies: Windows, networking, Citrix, virtual environments, backups, antivirus, monitoring
* 5 years' experience dealing with technical and management stakeholders in a corporate environment
* 3 to 5 years' experience dealing with change management in a corporate environment

Required Skills and Knowledge

* Excellent communicator, comfortable managing the expectations of customers as well as senior internal technical and managerial staff
* Proven WinTel, Virtualisation and Citrix experience
* Good understanding of Microsoft SQL database servers
* ITIL knowledge and experience a distinct advantage
* Good exposure to Project Management
