Digital Developer

Location - North Dublin

A digital developer is required by our Client a Leading ICT Consultancy Company, the incumbent will have a  strong record of backend and server side development.

Primarily this role will support the development of applications and solutions for the healthcare sector in Europe where they have a significant and expanding footprint already. You will be delivering on world leading applications and software to customers whose effective operation depends on it. 

 Responsibilities:
Carrying out backend/server-side development
Utilisation of cloud platforms to develop data-intensive application services delivered via APIs for web and mobile clients
Developing software for a product that will be designed to target the management of patients within hospital environments.
Working with sensor technology and engaging with professionals in clinical environments.
Coding using.NET languages and framework (particularly C#)
Implementing web APIs to access data-intensive web resources in Azure cloud
Working in a small focused team with string sense of ownership
Resolving technical issues with minimal direction

 Experience:
Computer Science degree
3-5 years software engineering experience in .NET development environment
Extensive experience with MySQL and Azure DocumentDB (preferred) or MongoDB, 
Strong Understanding of REST concepts and HTTP-based technologies
Understanding of Identity Management (e.g. Oauth 2.0) is a plus
Capable and effective communicator
Proactive individual who can think on their feet
Ability to work independently, take ownership of development and resolve issues with minimal direction
