Business/Systems Analyst - Dublin 12
My client is seeking an experienced Business/System Analyst to join our IT team with particular emphasis on Salesforce skills.
In this role you will be responsible for the project management of new initiatives for the core applications in use. This will include management, maintenance and support of our Salesforce platform, including data integration from our systems and other third party data sources. This person is required to work closely with business users to define requirements, produce technical specifications, liaise with developers, manage system & UAT testing and create system and user documentation to satisfy business and IT support requirements. In this role you will also act as an escalation point in the support of the various business applications in use.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Plan future system enhancements in line with business objectives
• Work with business units to identify business needs
• Project management of new initiatives from business requirements through to implementation
• Develop project plans and support all stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
• Analysis of business requirements and translation into technical specifications
• Coordinating with business users during the requirements definition process
• Manage the delivery of IT solutions to address business problem issues
• Ensure changes are transitioned into operation with minimum risk
• Provide flexible support to application developers & support team
• Plan and execute/coordinate integration and user acceptance testing
• Create system and user documentation
• Provide support in the development and enhancement of core systems
• Assist the business teams in modelling as-is & to-be processes and in identifying issues or opportunities for improvement
• Development of business reports and dashboards
• Perform day-to-day technical routines in order to support the business
• Answer escalated support questions from end-users and assist business users with creation and refinement of processes
Required Skills
• Third level I.T. qualification
• Project Management experience
• Salesforce certification essential
• Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively communicate technical issues to the business & convert business requirements into technical specifications
• Business Objects skills an advantage
• Database management skills desirable, particularly SQLServer
• Development experience desirable (Visualforce, Apex, PHP,IBM Websphere)
Experience Required
• Previous experience in a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst capacity
• Experience in liaising between business teams and developers to ensure that key requirements are understood
• Knowledge and experience of the development lifecycle
• Support experience in a technical support environment
• Experience of the management of Salesforce environments desirable
• Proficient in SFDC Administrative tasks
