We are currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join the team as Marketing & Sales Solutions Tech Lead (Digital Engineering Tech Lead)
The Marketing and Sales Solutions Tech Lead is required to manage, develop and maintain consumer facing digital solutions that meet the needs of Irish Distiller’s consumer centric marketing approach.
Marketing and sales solutions are required to be delivered within agreed timescales and budgets using an iterative, agile and collaborative process, it is the Tech Lead who must ensure that happens. As required, the tech lead is expected to work alongside IT Operations Teams and Marketing and Sales Solutions teams from across the globe to ensure that solutions are sufficiently well tested, scalable and fit our global business and consumer’s needs.
The Tech Lead will support and identify opportunities to improve upon the company’s consumer facing marketing strategy and contribute to the European Brand Company’s Marketing and Sales Solutions strategy and roadmap.
Main roles and responsibilities:
Ability to write quality OO code in PHP and have experience with MVC frameworks (Symfony, Zend)
Experience of building high performance, multilingual websites
Developing, documenting and maintaining APIs and web services
Understanding of Service Oriented Architectures and consuming RESTful web services
Experience using continuous integration as an integral part of a project. (Jenkins)
Experience in mobile application development and support
Ensure application life cycle is in accordance with IT guidelines
Ensure quality and efficiency of solutions
Manage IT projects and deliver solutions on time, on budget and on scope, respecting quality standards.
Monitor progress and ensure the project reporting is accurate and well communicated to the business.
Estimate and manage resources.
Utilizes Agile project methodologies.
Understand business priorities and help propose the right solutions
Ability to propose new technology-based business models.
Contribute to the overall Marketing and Sales Solution Strategy.
Share, recommend and promote existing / new solutions that could represent a good opportunity for the business.
Manage business stakeholder communities
Contribute to portfolio review discussions.
