Pre-Sales Business Applications Consultant

They are a key player in the Irish Market and this is a great opportunity to participate in the continued growth of their Business Applications group. The Company has a broad range of clients covering both the Public and Private Sectors.
The Candidate will be responsible for the ownership of the Pre-Sales activity for the Business Applications Solutions within the Company across their clients’ business and supporting applications landscape.
These solutions will be created across their Microsoft/Java landscape and will be strategically aligned to a given market sector, or tactically to a specific client organisation.
The Successful candidate will support the Sales community by designing dynamic, market leading solutions covering:
Working closely with Sales & Delivery teams, you will be responsible for creating and driving differentiated solutions that are price competitive and risk mitigated, in line with their agenda for growth. You will be familiar with the various aspects of an application based solution methodology including innovation, commercial, risk, contract, resource estimation, design / build / transition / run composition and staff transfer.
Your focus will be on mid to large sized tactical deals and strategic go to market offerings.
Lead a solutions team for each bid to deliver a compelling value proposition to each client – either light or heavy touch, depending on the complexity and value of the opportunity.
Lead, Shape and frame propositions to meet client requirements working alongside Sales & Delivery leadership, Commercial Leads and proposal development teams.
You will operate with a high degree of independence. A team player, with demonstrable commercial awareness and a proven track record in the IT industry designing applications ‘build & run’ services across multiple delivery geographies.
Proven track record of creating solutions in the Public or Private Sector – both through formal procurement processes and through informal relationships. You will have a good understanding of the issues facing senior Business, Finance and IT executives, and an understanding of the solutions that will resonate with them.

Exceptional client-facing skills.
Capability to articulate technical solutions in a non-technical manner.
Strategically oriented, but able to drill into all aspects of solution delivery.
