FULL STACK DEVELOPER
The Role:
Reporting to the Systems Architect the successful candidate will support the delivery of the online financial platform.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Work as part of project team in the delivery of the company’s online financial platform
- Develop core functional components trading site
- Enhance and maintain web-enabled capabilities and custom applications within the business
- Promote a collaborative work environment with team members and customers, providing task analysis and technical insight to help develop and deliver the needed capabilities via a mobile web-based environment
- Process driven and work to the company production and QA process
Technical Requirements
- HTML
- CSS3
- jQuery
- Spring
- Spring Security
- Spring MVC
- Secure Coding Techniques
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years core Java
- Minimum 5 years development experience
- Minimum 2 years commercial experience with Ajax/jQuery, HTML, CSS3 and JSPs for an enterprise level application
- Broad understanding of all components of large customer facing web applications
- Good architectural thinking with regards to creating code that is performant, re-usable and compatible on multiple browsers
- Ability to multi task, manage time and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of user centred design process, usability principles and information architecture
- Excellent communication skills with strong oral and writing skills; will have a strong organisational skills and will work effectively in team structures
- Excellent analytical skills
- Creative problem solving skills and an ability to apply business logic to development requirements
- Cross browser/platform experience
