Front End Developer / Web Application Developer
Our client is a software development company providing innovative software and web technology solutions. They are an award winning web application, mobile application and software development company. Due to their recent successes they are now looking to add a Front end developer to their highly skilled team
The role will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work closely with the UI/UX designer to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Create site layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Develop complex business rules and custom forms working within the available software development functionality in our core technology
• Provide timely response and resolution to production issues as they arise, provide accurate estimates regarding the completion of tasks, and deliver on committed deadlines and goals
• Leverage the existing code base for developing new solutions and troubleshooting issues that may arise. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback for improving existing code.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing solutions using Visual Studio, the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5/4.0, and related technologies, patterns, frameworks, and protocols
• Experienced in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery
• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS
• Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Development experience with creating complex web applications using .Net/MVC, php, and related frameworks.
• Knowledge and experience with Telerik/ Kendo UI is a plus
