Head of Product Design

Our client is a leading multinational in there industry and have been setting the standards over the last 50 years, being a well established executive consulting firm with a global presence. My client are looking for a Head of Product Design with a blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. The Head of Product Design will work with our Business Leadership to define compelling IT solutions. They will define the longer term portfolio mix, and product roadmaps.
Responsibilities
• Work with our Business partners in developing a vision for software products to support new and existing initiatives
• Develop compelling roadmaps for our software products
• Working with the office of the CIO, be a key contributor to portfolio planning
• Drive high level solutioning exercises with business partners
• Provide leadership to Business/Data Analysts and UI/UX teams across multiple projects and streams, and build their long term capability (team of 16+)
• Support the internal marketing of new products internally
• Contributor to CIO leadership team
Skills / Experience
• 5+ years experience working as a Head of Product function or in a similar product or service leadership role, either in in-house or commercial software delivery
• A strong hands-on background in analysis/design , working on enterprise class systems
• An understanding of traditional and current analysis/design techniques including user centered design
• A track record of introducing product / service innovation, and in managing innovation in the software space.
• Proven leadership & management skills
• Experience of working in a scrum based environment
• International Experience
• Bachelor/Masters degree in a related discipline or equivalent industry experience
