Business Programme Manager
realTime recruitment are currently looking to hire a Business Programme Manager on a contract basis to start in early January.
My Client is a large Dublin based Financial organisation who are undertaking a transformation project kicking off in 2017 and you will be heavily responsible for its success and you will have a team of resources to help you.
Purpose of the role – this is a Business Programme Manager role where you are accountable for ensuring ownership, coordination, visibility, budget control, and timely delivery of a Programme of prioritised business projects.
• Work alongside internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver a strategic programme of projects
• Map out the business benefits and design the Programme to deliver those outcomes
• Instil effective governance and Programme Management
• Lead the business through Change, evolution and position the Business for sustained growth and results
• Be proficient at building and motivating high performance teams
• Maximise the relationship with chosen vendors to manage deliverables and deal with any potential issues early
• Coordinate all activity on the Programme including business process redesign, system design and development, training, communications, testing, transition, rollout, handover and support
• Assist in writing business cases
• Create a culture of openness and transparency and a ‘one team’ mentality
You will have a strong sense of urgency who is used to working to tight deadlines.
Change Management experience is highly advantageous with proven ability to think strategically.
Key skills also include:
• You will have 10+ years’ experience in managing strategic and operational programmes driving operational change, ideally with Prince II or similar
• Solid delivery management experience, delivering multiple parallel projects to key stakeholders and Executive Management
• Comfortable discussing Financial strategy, risks, issues and negotiating with Senior Executives
• Very strong Financial services experience
This is an excellent contract role, initially for 6 months but with an excellent chance of an extension.
