Senior Java Developer

* 6 month contract
* Greenfield Project
* €500 / day DOE

I have an excellent contracting opportunity available within an R&D department of a global powerhouse with offices in Dublin city center. Their working environment is excellent, it's a small team within a focussed R&D team who split their time building new applications and working on POC applications.
The team are currently building a large scale portal accessed by business clients. The functionality of this system is crucial and they will be introducing big data and real time processing to this system through 2017.

The role will appeal to a developer who can make strong contributions to architecture and system design with an awareness of the benefits of some of the latest technologies available - if you can justify its viability, they will use it.

Desired Skills / Experience

* 6+ years Java development expereince
* Solid experience across Spring framework
* Ideally a good understanding of micro-services architecture
* They are using Angular2 but exposure any modern JS framework would help
* Exposure to Devops would be nice
* Experience developing large scale systems end to end strongly desired
