Cobol Developer / Cobol Engineer / Cobol Programmer

This life and pensions company is going into a new phase of innovation within its product suite of tax efficient life and pension policies. This insurance company is based in Dublin 2 with good transport connections and strong pipeline of development projects. This daily rate contract will initially be a 6 month contract with a view to a further extension. The company for the medium term will be relying on contractors for this long term increase in activity.

You will:
• Contribute to a project based assignment
• Applying configuration changes to key applications
• Be an advocate of development standards and processes
• Lead and contribute to the on-going development of IT standards

Experience:
• 3 + years as an Cobol Developer, Cobol Programmer, Cobol Engineer
• Insurance (an advantage) or banking / financial services experience

This position is being offered on a 6 month daily rate contract with a view for extension.

Salary / Remuneration: EUR 325 – 380 per day
