Our client is a solutions provider for the Software as a Service (SaaS) market, using the internet as a delivery platform to revolutionise the way businesses manage their accounts. They are now looking for a Senior .NET & SQL Developer to join their team.

As a Senior .NET & SQL Developer, you will be responsible for implementing new functionalities, refining existing products and improving the development and release engine.
Taking collective ownership of the applications architecture and technical direction, you will operate within an agile / lean environment with both on-site and off-site co-workers. As part of your role, you will be expected to mentor more junior members.
Getting involved at all stages of the development process from design to testing and delivery, you will carry out core development activities covering a wide range of technologies on the front end and the back end.
This covers areas from core development in ASP.NET web forms, MVC, web api, linq, coffee-script, SASS, to T-SQL stored procedures and functions in SQL Server. However, being a full-stack developer and a keen problem solver is more important than any particular technology.
Additionally, you will write and execute unit, integration and system tests on both your own and others' code and contribute ideas to product design and product architecture.
Interested? To be considered for this superb opportunity, you must have a degree in an IT related discipline and at least three years’ experience of the following technologies:
- ASP.NET, C#.NET or VB.NET
- HTML4 and/or 5 and CSS 2 and/or 3
- JavaScript
- SQL Server with specific reference to T-SQL
The ideal Senior .NET & SQL Developer will have experience of MVC, Web Services and Web APIs. An interest in optimisation, mobile development and/or DevExpress components would be equally favourable. Some knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks would be advantageous, as would good technical documentation writing skills. Any reference to open source work or projects demonstrating your skills will be considered and any DevOps, scripting, build maintenance experience would be similarly welcomed.
