Our client is a leading provider of bespoke software for education sector in Ireland, with clients ranging from the Department of Education, NIPT, PDST and the INTO, amongst others.
The role would include the following responsibilities:
� Plan and monitor implementation of current internal procedures.
� Manage and mitigate risk for a small number of projects
� Status reporting to management team
� Monitor project schedules and budgets
� Work with the stakeholders of projects to ensure that needs and risk are captured.
� Have experience in project management, preferably in the web development domain.
� Be knowledgeable in relation to industry standard PM practices, e.g. Prince2
� Be flexible enough to work with a small team of developers and modify approach to facilitate this.
� Have experience in general management.
� Be organised and an effective communicator to work with a small team of 6 individuals.
� Champion best practices
� Manage day to day tasks in relation to general operations and projects.
� A knowledge of the Linux LAMP stack is helpful but not necessary
� A knowledge of web development best practices would be beneficial
