Technical Operations Analyst
Description
PURPOSE:
The TechOps Analyst role implements, supports and administers security technologies globally as implemented by the Security Engineering team
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for operating, administering, and serving as a subject matter expert on security tools including but not limited to:
- Host based IDS and IPS tools
- Endpoint encryption tools
- Privileged access management tools
- Network security tools
- Data Leakage Prevention tools
- Application Security tools
- Defines, monitors, and automates operational tasks
- Works with matrixed security engineer to review significant changes
- Reviewing configuration changes with regards to security toolsets, testing those changes against customer requirements, and implementing them into production environments
- Escalation point for change requests for key IT security operational areas, acts as level 2 engineering support
- Supporting break/fix activities regarding operational stability of security technologies
Scope of role
- Global responsibility of supported security tools
Management Responsibility
- Individual contributor
- Manage workstreams of Service Providers and Suppliers, Vendors, and Contractors
Travel
- Role may require international travel typically not exceeding 2 weeks per year. Local travel to other Ireland sites, typically not exceeding 1 day per month

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Intermediate information technology knowledge
- Intermediate security technology administration experience
- Experience with working across business unit and global geographical boundaries to engage team members as required
- Experience and interest in technology within areas of responsibility
- Relevant security certifications are preferred but not required
